This track started out as a request from a modder who was creating Monster Truck models to be used in the N2003 game and taking advantage of the CTS physics created by PWF quite a few years ago.  Modders continue to keep N2003 alive with great add ons to the game, and guys like us keep pumping out tracks that offer something different than the hundreds of tracks already out there.  Monsturd Truck Rally is just one of those kinds of tracks.

THIS TRACK IS MADE FOR CTS PHYSICS!!

Although I have put in settings for cup, GTP, and PTA... the grip and physics have been adjusted mostly for racing trucks.

Monsturd is part road course, part rally, part oval, part stunt track.  It has jumps like a stunt track, but they are mild enough to add to the racing, not make the track practically unraceable like so many of the stunt tracks out there today.  This track has some pretty unique features that I have not seen attempted in other tracks, and it left me with some difficult decisions about "play-ability".  What I think it excels in is online racing in a league setting... where it doesn't do so well is racing off line against AI.  Bascially, the back stretch of the track has been split into 3 separate race lines... each has an advantage and a disadvantage to it... where there might be a safer line, there is more sand and gravel, where it is fast, it is longer... where it is packed dirt and less bumps, it is skinnier and more dangerous....

I tested all three lines and to the best of my ability, they are basically even if you learn how to drive each one... what this is intended to do, is give a place on the track where you can basically pass someone by mastering a line regardless of which line they pick to race..

One word of caution... you might need to turn off the smoke and debris setting if there are a lot of trucks on the track.. the sections of the track that are DIRT in the texture and grip settings will kick up DUST... a lot of DUST!!!  With more than a few trucks on the track, you will constantly be blind by the flying dirt... of course, to me, this is perfect because its like real dirt track racing, but in reality on a sim.. it might just be a head ache....

Enjoy the latest track by the Fasturd Racing Team... see you on the track!

This is the Start Screen logo of my truck getting air off the back straight.

Here is the track from above, the top part of the track shows the 3 racing lines and is the highest part of the track, you basically have to climb a steep hill out of the dual hair pins to get to the top of the mountain, then you powerslide through the dirt turn and get air as you go down a steep asphalt hill to the tricky final turn.. expect to see smoke coming off those tires as you scream through the last two turns trying to setup your sprint down the double lane, double jump front stretch.

Heres a pic of the front straight.. the darker grove is the slope between the split track on the front straight, each one is slightly different and like the back stretch, each has an advantage and disadvantage... the biggest trick here is to make sure you are lined up right before you hit the hill... or expect to go flying sideways... lol.

Pit cam 2 is actually set on the back straight to give a great view of who's racing which line.

If you leave smoke turned on... perpare to have a disadvantage if you are back in the pack..

The double turn, alternating banking provides a wild area of the track as trucks attempt to slow down from coming off the hill, while keeping speed for the long front straight, expect to see some smoke coming off them tires if ya hit the line just right.. even at top speed on a great lap, you can take each lane's jumps at full speed and not flip the truck, but the front end will get up in the air for a while, so ya also better be pointed straight... fastest laps are actually made crossing over from one lane to the other.. but that is really tricky to pull off depending on traffic around you.

3 trucks, 10 tires still airborn... man oh man this is fun.

Side by side coming off  the jump between the hairpins... better be ready to powerslide through the last turn to make your pass.
